  • Poor consistency and drop in volume near end of year

Distance: 414 km

  • New extensions
  • Still progressing through levels at tested FTP
  • Holding aero position up to upper sweet spot / lower threshold

  • Long ride not as long as prescribed in TR
  • Breaking aero during long ride

Run

Distance: 137,33 km

  • Hill repeats provide good stimulus
  • Slow but continuous progression of long run and weekly mileage

Lows

  • Easy pace slightly below expectations (5:10 instead of 4:55 average)
  • No spadework

First month of structured training. Really ramped up my swimming efforts, kept building strength on the bike and continued to slowly build mileage running. Experimenting with my position on the bike, trying to run down old trainers so I can finally buy new ones. Studying nutrition.
